Forbes on DTEK’s AI Transformation
Forbes Ukraine has published an article about QUANTUM, DTEK’s large-scale AI transformation program. In the interview, Dmytro Osyka, CIO of DTEK and CEO of MODUS X, discussed the company’s approach to artificial intelligence adoption, employee upskilling, and business process transformation.
Currently, approximately 50% of DTEK employees use AI tools on a regular basis as part of their daily work. The company aims to increase this figure to more than 90%, making AI a standard productivity tool for the vast majority of its workforce.
According to Dmytro Osyka, the goal of the QUANTUM program is to transform DTEK Group companies into intelligent businesses where artificial intelligence is seamlessly integrated into everyday operations and core business processes.
“Today, the rate of regular AI usage across DTEK is around 50%. Our goal is to increase it to over 90%. For us, this is not about adopting individual tools - it is about changing the way the entire company works,” said Dmytro Osyka.
Phased Implementation and Development of AI Capabilities
The program is being implemented in stages. The first phase focuses on developing employees AI capabilities and integrating AI tools into everyday work. The next step will be the transformation of key business processes through the use of artificial intelligence. Looking ahead, DTEK sees AI as a foundation for creating new ways of doing business and developing new products.
The company places particular emphasis on employee development. Foundational AI training is delivered by MODUS X and the DTEK Academy. Employees participate in hands-on workshops where they learn how to work with AI tools, create effective prompts, and apply AI to their day-to-day tasks. Advanced training is delivered in partnership with technology providers, including Microsoft.
AI as a Strategic Direction for Growth
The company is also building a user support ecosystem to help employees adopt new AI tools more quickly and maximize the value they deliver in everyday work.
The Forbes article also notes that DTEK views artificial intelligence as one of its key strategic priorities for the coming years and expects the technology to deliver a significant impact on workforce productivity and the efficiency of business processes.
