According to a joint study by Forbes Ukraine and KPMG in Ukraine, MODUS X topped the ranking of IT companies established by large businesses to drive internal digital transformation. In 2024, the company reported the highest revenue among its peers — UAH 1.8 billion, a 41% increase compared to 2023.
Over the year, MODUS X demonstrated strong growth, transforming from an internal innovation hub into a full-fledged IT company with export potential. Key achievements included launching new solutions for DTEK in electricity generation forecasting, digital document management, cybersecurity, automation, and generative AI.
“What we develop for DTEK, we also have the opportunity to sell on the external market. At the same time, the Ukrainian market is slowing down — as the economy decelerates, it is becoming more difficult to expand our portfolio here. That is why we are entering new markets in Europe and Central Asia. It is challenging, but these markets offer opportunities for growth,” said Dmytro Osyka.
The company is actively expanding its external client base. In 2024, MODUS X worked with 14 external clients, while in the first half of 2025, it added 12 more new clients. They include companies from the banking, agricultural, pharmaceutical, and retail sectors. The next focus area is telecommunications.
In 2024, the combined revenue of the 10 largest IT companies created by Ukrainian businesses reached UAH 7 billion ($174 million), a 49% increase compared to 2023. MODUS X accounted for the largest share of this total.
Other companies included Nova.Digital, Kyivstar.Tech, Metinvest Digital, TemaBit, Naftogaz Digital Technologies, and others.
