Dmytro Osyka in an Interview with The Page: How to Turn an In-House IT Service into an Independent Technology Company

MODUS X CEO Dmytro Osyka Named Among the “Top Drivers of Ukrainian Business 2025”

The business media outlet The Page included MODUS X CEO Dmytro Osyka in its “Top Drivers of Ukrainian Business 2025” ranking. As part of the project, he shared his experience of transforming DTEK’s in-house IT department into an independent company and spoke about fostering a culture of innovation and developing digital solutions that strengthen the business.

“The decision to create MODUS X was a logical continuation of this transformation. It was neither spontaneous nor reactive — it was a deliberate and systematic step based on real changes in the team’s role, accumulated expertise, new external demand, and our internal readiness to move forward as an independent technology company,” said Dmyro Osyka.

Among the key areas he highlighted in the interview were:

  • integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning into business processes;
  • implementing digital products, including DEEP.HR;
  • large-scale projects for the DTEK Group, from SAP solutions to cybersecurity systems;
  • cooperation with global technology partners, including Microsoft, SAP, IBM, and others.

In 2024, MODUS X added 14 new external clients from the banking, pharmaceutical, retail, agricultural, manufacturing, and security sectors to its portfolio. The company has demonstrated financial growth for the third consecutive year and continues to develop its own products.
