25,000+ employees actively use digital HR services via the mobile application
DTEK One Click is a large-scale initiative by DTEK Group aimed at digitalizing its document management processes and transitioning to a paperless office. One of the key направления of this program is the implementation of digital HR services, designed to make them accessible to all employees, simplify the user experience, and increase flexibility and mobility in interacting with them.
The project is being implemented in close collaboration with the MODUS X team — a Ukrainian IT company specializing in the deployment of innovative digital solutions. The MODUS X team was responsible for developing technological solutions for the automation of HR processes, ensuring a convenient and multifunctional user experience for employees.
Before the implementation of the HR services digitalization project, DTEK employees and HR managers faced numerous challenges:
The strategic goal of the project is to create максимально accessible HR services for all company employees, including operational staff who previously did not have access to them.
As part of the digitalization project, the MODUS X team developed and enhanced a range of digital HR services across web and mobile platforms, available 24/7 and primarily focused on improving employee user experience and increasing HR administration efficiency.
The MODUS X team developed a user-friendly interface for managing employees’ personal information and services on the DTEK corporate portal.
“My Space” contains personal information about an employee’s position, including part-time roles, and allows users to edit data, update photos, and add social media contacts.
In addition, “My Space” serves as a single access point to updated HR services such as “Vacations,” “Certificates,” “Termination,” as well as ongoing services including “Annual Performance Review,” “Payslip,” “Remote Work Schedule,” and others.
Below are descriptions of some services:
Vacations
MODUS X integrated vacation request services into both the mobile application and web platform.
The service provides information on available vacation types and limits. A full list of legally compliant leave types is available for online submission.
In the web version on the corporate portal, employees can submit leave requests for both their primary and secondary roles. In the mobile app, leave requests are currently available only for the primary position. The service allows creating and approving multiple leave requests simultaneously, adding flexibility and convenience to vacation planning.
A “Vacation Schedules” feature has also been introduced, eliminating manual schedule management and enabling creation, approval, and administration within a single automated system.
Payslips
Thanks to new solutions from MODUS X, employees can view their payslips via the company’s mobile application on iOS and Android — particularly convenient for frontline employees without access to computers.
The service was designed primarily for operational staff who, due to their roles, do not have work PCs. Previously, only office employees could access payslips via the corporate portal, while operational personnel received printed paper copies.
Certificates
A new “Certificates” web service was developed and implemented on the DTEK corporate portal and is also available in the mobile application.
The updated service expands the list of available certificate types, enables requests for both primary and secondary employment, and allows employees to notify the company of changes in personal data and submit supporting documents online.
The service features a simple and intuitive interface, making the process максимально convenient and clear. To request a certificate, an employee simply logs into the portal, selects the required type, chooses a preferred delivery method, and submits the request.
